Sustainability is a high purpose
A sustainable lifestyle is a good start, but it's never enough at Amaïzed. For us, sustainability is more than embracing recyclable materials or trash sorting. It's a complex goal that involves great effort to attain. Specifically, the UN defines 17 Sustainable Development Goals that were agreed to by over 190 countries to focus on things like pollution, famine, poverty, and climate change.

So, we only focus on ONE goal. That is to reinvent how merchants respond to the growing demand for to-go convenience.

Amaïzed is committed to the innovative application of our sustainable values reflected in our product designs, manufacturing process, business practices, and organizational culture.
Takeout orders lead to nearly 270k tons of plastic litter sweeping into the ocean. In the U.S. alone, over 100M pieces of plastic cutlery are consumed daily. That equals to a whooping 40B pieces per year, an intimidating number for landfilling and recycling. Moreover, birchwood cutlery can hardly be a solution. Birch tree needs on average 20 yrs to mature. The fast consumption rate makes wooden cutlery basically an unsustainable alternative if we don't want to destroy our forests. With this in mind, Amaïzed acts as part of the solution to create new alternatives to plastic or wooden cutlery through innovation and dedication.
Sustainability is more than a lifestyle task. It is a "wicked problem" which requires collaborative efforts from a large group of brain trust including the community, investors, consumers, supply chain service providers, and manufacturers. Amaïzed is trying to be part of it by applying creative solutions to transform this challenge to a new business opportunity.
